BTI Studios has appointed Chris Carey as the company’s new chief revenue officer and managing director for the Americas. The Burbank dubbing and subtitling company said Carey will join the company effective March 11. He joins BTI from Verizon, where he served as head of strategy for digital media services. He previously worked as executive vice president of worldwide technical operations at Paramount Pictures, chief marketing and technology officer at Technicolor, and senior vice president of new technology at Walt Disney Studios. “[Chris] has a wealth of experience that spans most disciplines, and he knows how to build and scale a company. More importantly, he understands the value in creating a customer-centric organization that can partner and deliver on its promises,” Shaun Gregory, chief executive of BTI Studios, said in a statement.
