Chief Executive, D.S. Honda Construction
Honda is the chief executive of Northridge-based D.S. Honda Construction Inc., which he founded in 1980. Some of the company’s most notable projects include the Japanese American National Museum Barracks Restoration and the 1984 Special Olympics Archery Range Complex. It also oversaw the creation of the Director’s Guild of America headquarters in the old Bank of America Building on Sunset Boulevard. Honda has created or renovated millions of square feet of commercial real estate. His company’s development of the Honda Financial Centre was given the Accommodation Award and the Community Award for Excellence in 1985. Honda is working with a handful of Asian governments on projects in Vietnam and Cambodia.
