President, Chief Executive, Pacifica Hospital of the Valley
As president and chief executive of Pacifica Hospital in Sun Valley, Mayes is charged with overseeing one of California’s most specialized public health care centers. She took on the role in April 2018, helping to reverse years of massive losses. Mayes has more than 25 years of experience in health care leadership. Most recently, she served as chief strategy officer at the hospital, boosting its performance metrics. She made the LA Business Journal’s Women of Influence in Health Care lists in 2022 and 2023. Mayes is the chair of the Hospital Association of Southern California’s Hospital Operations Committee. She’s also active at the California Association of Health Facilities, the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living.
