President and Chief Executive, MEND – Meet Each Need with Dignity
Marinaccio has been chief of Mend — Meet Each Need with Dignity since 2017. Mend, a nonprofit based in Pacoima, provides assistance to those in poverty. In her first two years, she led Mend’s financial turnaround and established an operating reserve. With this financial grounding, Mend survived and even thrived through the Covid-19 pandemic; last year it launched new programs. Mend has received numerous recognitions, including a Top Nonprofit designation last year from GreatNonprofits.org and a 4-Star Give with Confidence rating from Charity Navigator. The Business Journal named Marinaccio the 2020 Nonprofit Leader of the Year, and the California Legislative Women’s Caucus named her the San Fernando Valley Woman of the Year last year.
