President, Los Angeles Valley College
Gribbons began his tenure as president of Los Angeles Valley College in August 2019. Currently, he leads the college in not just recovering from the pandemic but in implementing innovations to enhance access for students with local schools and businesses. The Valley Glen campus continues an extensive renovation with over $400 million in projects, including the Valley Academic and Cultural Center and Academic Building that combined have over 200,000 square feet of instructional space. Gribbons is on the board of the Valley Industry and Commerce Association, the Valley Economic Alliance, the Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce and Great Public Schools Now. He is also a member of the Greater Van Nuys Rotary club.Â
