Lippe is a certified public accountant with his eponymous firm in Woodland Hills and Simi Valley. He served on the California Board of Pharmacy from 2009 to 2021 and was board president from 2019 to 2021. Lippe is chair of the Woodbury University Board of Trustees and is former chair of the Valley Industry and Commerce Association. He has also served on the Los Angeles Fire and Police Pensions Board and the Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency. The Business Journal gave him the Community Service Award in 2014, and in 2019 he received an honorary Doctor of Public Service degree from Woodbury University.
