Northridge Retail Complex Sells for Redevelopment

A 4,000-square-foot retail complex in Northridge has sold for $2.4 million.

The lot covers about 40,000 square feet at 17060 Devonshire St.

The retail complex was developed in 1978 and was occupied over the last several decades by Midas and Meineke Auto Care, a subsidiary of Driven Brands. It’s located along a high-traffic section of Devonshire Street, which contains a lot of restaurants, retail amenities and businesses.

Lee & Associates LA North/Ventura Principal Darren Casamassima and Associate David Kaufman closed the deal. Casamassima and Kaufman represented both the buyer 17060 Devonshire St LLC. and the out-of-state seller.

“With the Meineke lease coming to an end, the property was aligned for an owner/user to take advantage of the generous-sized lot, favorable parking to building ratio and C-2 zoning, allowing the site to be repositioned and developed for numerous uses in the future,” Casamassima said in a statement.
