Attempts to reach Bala Ramaiah, the chief executive and founder of ISSquared were not successful. But in a release about the Inc. placement, he said that the recognition was a testament to its customer-focused approach.  “None of this would have been possible without the hard work and execution capabilities of our teams,” Ramaiah said in the statement. “It also reflects our conscious decision to take measured risks, which helped us deliver business growth.”Suchinth Kumar, chief revenue officer, said that during the third quarter, ISSquared doubled the size of its sales staff nationally, as it bet on growth in key areas of security, cloud storage and its own differentiated product offerings.

“As with everyone across the globe, 2020 is turning out to be a pivotal year with dramatic change,” Kumar said in a statement. “We have embraced this new normal, and we are continuing to invest in growth.” Ramaiah started ISSquared in 2010 in a garage in Simi Valley. It has grown both organically and through acquisitions, with the first in 2018 of Starnet Data Design Inc., a Conejo Valley provider of technology products for mid-market businesses. The following year, it bought Network Computing Architects Inc., a Bellevue, Wash. provider of network management and IT security products.
