Financial terms of the deal between Triton in Sherman Oaks and All Things Comedy, a digital media co-op and content creation studio, were not disclosed.
The Los Angeles co-op and studio will use Triton’s Omny Studio podcast platform and Podcast Metrics measurement service to power the creation, management and distribution of content as well as the measurement of the listening audience, Triton said in a release.
John Rosso, president of market development at Triton, said the company was pleased to provide All Things Comedy with the tools and data it needs to continue to create and distribute content that makes people laugh.
“We are confident that the data and insights from our Podcast Metrics platform will enable them to analyze and optimize their distribution efforts while furthering their visibility with advertisers,” Rosso said in a statement.
All Things Comedy was founded by Bill Burr and Al Madrigal as a way for comedians to create and own their content and has established itself as the leading comedy podcast network. Comedians including Burr, Madrigal, Pauly Shore and Alonzo Bodden have created shows for the company.
