The chief financial officer of Shoe Pavilion Inc. has announced plans to step down later this month. Bruce Ross will resign May 30 and plans to take a position with another specialty retailer, the Sherman Oaks company said. Until then, Ross will oversee the preparation of Shoe Pavilion’s first quarter returns and consult while a new CFO is found. Shoe Pavilion has been dealing with rough financial waters in recent months. Earlier this week, it hit a new 52-week low after the company said it expects wide-than-predicted first quarter losses.
