DineEquity Inc, has announced the resignation of Thomas Conforti as the company’s chief financial officer. The Glendale-based company owns IHOP and Applebee’s restaurants, DineEquity has named its corporate controller, Greggory Kalvin, as interim CFO. It has also hired a search firm to find a permanent replacement for Conforti, who the company said resigned to pursue other opportunities. DineEquity has more than 3,300 restaurants worldwide.
