ValueClick Combines Mediaplex and AdWare Brands

Westlake Village-based ValueClick announced that it has merged its Mediaplex and AdWare Systems brands into the Mediaplex brand. ValueClick acquired AdWare and Mediaplex in October of 2001. They will now be represented under one brand. The two subsidiaries provide tracking, execution, and planning of online and offline advertising campaigns. ValueClick’s MediaPlex subsidiary is headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in New York and Louisville, Kentucky. Valueclick is an online advertising company that operates under three distinct entities: www.pricerunner.com, a provider of online comparison shopping services; Commission Junction, a company that aims to help marketers increase online leads and sales; and Mediaplex, which provides offline and online advertising to corporate marketers and advertising agencies.
