President, Chief Executive, Child Care Resource Center
Olenick has been president and chief executive of the Child Care Resource Center since 2003, overseeing the nonprofit’s programs, projects and services. CCRC provides assistance to over 75,000 children and families each month in an area spanning 22,500 square miles. Olenick is responsible for managing 1,200 staff members and a $700 million budget. He is currently on the California Child Welfare Council and chairs the committee of the board of ZERO to THREE, which advocates for infants and toddlers. He also serves on the board and is the public policy chair of the Child Care Alliance of Los Angeles, where he is a past president. He recently joined the board of UNITE-LA and is a past president of Child Care Aware of America.
