Lund grew up in the family business that bears his father’s name. He graduated from Notre Dame University in 1990, was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers, and completed four years with the organization. In 1994, he shifted his career and began working at the family-owned company, starting at its Portland, Oregon location. Lund was promoted to manager of the San Antonio, Texas, branch in 1997 and returned to California as vice president of sales and operations in 2004, overseeing the branch offices throughout the U.S. Lund was named president in May 2018 after Allen Lund’s passing. The company has grown to 39 offices nationwide and in Canada, with over 550,000 shipments annually and revenue of over $1.2 billion.
