President, Chief Executive, Warner Bros. Discovery
Zaslav is the chief executive of Warner Bros. Discovery. He has had to slash $50 billion in gross debt, which piled up when Discovery merged with Warner Media two years ago. Formerly head of reality TV giant Discovery since 2007, Zaslav is a protege of famed media investor John Malone. He was inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame in 2017. He is a recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Award, the UJA-Federation of New York’s Steven J. Ross Humanitarian Award and Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications Fred Dressler Leadership Award.
