Welton has served as the chief executiveof Dignity Health – Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center since 2018. She and her team have improved the hospital’s quality outcomes and patient experience scores while enhancing services. The hospital earned its first-ever Five-Star Quality Rating from the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and twice won a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade A. The hospital was one of the first drive-through Covid-19 testing sites for Los Angeles County. Welton received Business Life’s Women’s Achievers Award and has served on the board of the Glendale Chapter of the YWCA. She has been recognized as a Woman of Influence in the Business Journal.
