Chief Executive, Valley Presbyterian Hospital
Valdespino has been chief executive of Valley Presbyterian Hospital for 14 years. The nonprofit in Van Nuys is one of the largest acute-care hospitals in the San Fernando Valley with 350 beds. Valdespino has more than 25 years of hospital management experience, including serving as senior vice president of operations for Tenet Health Corp.’s Southern California region, chief executive of St. Vincent Medical Center and chief executive of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Orange County. He holds a master’s degree in public health from UCLA and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
