Lymberopoulos, the former chief operating officer of Providence
Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center, was named chief executive in 2021. As COO, he led efforts to manage the pandemic, organizing a free Covid-19 vaccine center for physicians, employees and the community. At the same time, he oversaw the construction and renovation of the hospital as well as daily operations. The hospital is nearing completion of its $750 million expansion and renovation. He has been active in developing philanthropy; in the past three years, the hospital’s foundation has raised $100 million. A Valley native, Lymberopoulos earlier was chief financial officer for the entire Southern California region of Providence.
