Community Relations Director, Van Nuys Airport
Sanchez is the community relations director for Van Nuys Airport, one of the busiest general aviation airports in the world. Because of her involvement in the community, the airport has received awards from the Valley Economic Alliance and Mid Valley YMCA, and it was inducted into the Valley Industry and Commerce Association Hall of Fame. Sanchez was given the Fernando Award in 2021, considered the highest local award for volunteerism. She also has been recognized as Woman of the Year by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Sen. Robert Hertzberg and the Encino Chamber of Commerce. Sanchez serves on the boards of the Valley Economic Alliance and the Mid Valley YMCA.
