President, Chronicle Business Group
The Rev. Broadous formed the Chronicle Business Group in 1996 as a consultancy for entrepreneurs and small-business operators. He also helped start a Valley chapter of the National Black Chamber of Commerce. He is retired from the U.S. Navy, and in 1990 was ordained a Baptist minister at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Pacoima, which had been organized by his father. He is on the board of the Valley Economic Alliance. Broadous formed the San Fernando Valley Juneteenth Committee to promote, among other things, the development of the National Juneteenth Museum in Fort Worth, Texas.
