NetSol Technologies Inc. announced on Monday a partnership with Amazon Web Services to offer cloud computing services.
The Calabasas software developer for the vehicle and equipment leasing markets has an abundance of experience in cloud services, and this will reflect greatly in its partnership with AWS, according to a release from the company.
Najeeb Ghauri, founder and chief executive of NetSol, said that by utilizing the power of Amazon, the company will provide customers across various industries with flexible and scalable solutions in an agile and secure environment.
“We will further be leveraging important technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, blockchain and (the Internet of Things),” Ghauri said in a statement.
Mark Timm, senior vice president, global cloud strategy at NetSol, called Amazon Web Services the world’s leading, most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform.
He was happy to announce the partnership with the tech company as it will bring in decades of NetSol’s transformation, modernization and migration experience together with AWS’s highly skilled resources.
“While services in this regard will be offered globally, we will initially be aggressively targeting the North American market,” Timm said in a statement.
Shares in NetSol (NTWK) closed up 12 cents, or just about 4 percent, to $3.14 on the Nasdaq, on a day when that market closed down a fraction of a percent.
