Harbor Freight Tools has signed a 10-year lease for a 19,985-square-foot retail space in Northridge, making this the tool store chain’s first recent expansion in the North San Fernando Valley market.
Formerly the site of a 99 Cents Only Store, the freestanding building is located at 8966 Reseda Blvd.
Kyle Fishburn, senior associate at Kennedy Wilson Brokerage, represented the owner, Mushmel Properties.
The Harbor Freight store is expected to open in late summer.
Harbor Freight Tools is headquartered in Calabasas. Last year the company ranked No. 1 on the Business Journal’s list of Private Companies with annual revenues of $6.5 billion.
