Cindy Keitel to Receive Award From Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber

Cindy Keitel will be recognized with the Chairman’s Award of Excellence by the Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Keitel is the past chamber board chair who is specifically being recognized for her efforts throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Cindy Keitel is invaluable to the chamber. It is an honor to recognize her for her partnership, leadership and commitment to our success,” Chamber Chairman Steve Rydin said in a statement.

Keitel’s professional career saw her hold communications, advocacy and marketing positions in health care, higher education and nonprofits. From 2008 until earlier this year, she worked in community relations at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.

She joined the chamber 14 years ago and after eight years of service, was asked by Chief Executive Nancy Hoffman Vanyek to join the board of directors.

The award will be presented to Keitel at the chamber’s “A Grand New Year” event on April 1, which will celebrate the chamber’s 111th birthday at the Hyatt Regency Westlake.
