19 Businesses on Ventura Boulevard Vandalized

At least 19 businesses on Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills and Tarzana were vandalized overnight resulting in broken windows, Los Angeles Police Department confirmed Wednesday morning.Initial reporting from NBC LA and KNX indicated the windows of businesses were shot out with a BB gun around 4 a.m., though the LAPD has not confirmed these details.“LAPD detectives are investigating a series of vandalisms that took place overnight in the Topanga and West Valley areas of the SFV,” the LAPD public information Twitter account read on Wednesday morning. “So far, a total of 19 businesses have reported at least one of their windows being smashed. We will provide more updates when they become available.”An LAPD public information officer declined to give further details.Affected businesses were clustered along Ventura Boulevard near Tampa and include Chase Bank, Knauer Pianos, The Carving Board, Excitement adult store, AGWC Rockin' Rescue and Mi Casa Lighting and Fans.
