Valencia’s Fraylock Holdings Buys Materials Firm

Fralock Holdings, a Valencia manufacturer for the aerospace, defense and medical industries, has acquired Oasis Materials Co. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.Oasis, based in Poway near San Diego, manufactures ceramic, stainless steel and glass heaters and other components used in the same industries served by Fralock.The transaction adds 100 new employees with notably strong engineering depth, and builds upon Fralock’s technical expertise, the company said in a release.Marc Haugen, chief executive of the Santa Clarita Valley company, said that the deal enables Fralock to offer more alternatives that can significantly improve its customer’s products and their bottom line.“This investment moves us closer to realizing our vision to become one of the world’s leading providers of engineered advanced materials solutions for critical applications,” Haugen said in a statement.

Fralock was founded in 1967 and is currently owned by Arsenal Capital Partners, a New York private equity firm. It has about 500 employees in offices throughout California.
