Rex Parris, owner of Parris Law Firm and the mayor of Lancaster, has adopted hydrogen as his energy of choice. “Hydrogen is becoming the go-to green fuel for power generation, energy storage, fuel cell cars and anything natural gas has been used for,” Parris said in a Lancaster City Council meeting. The city achieved its goal of becoming the first net zero city in the world last year, an accomplishment Parris credited to “very pro-business policies.” … Private equity firm MidOcean Partners has acquired Music Reports in Woodland Hills from Abry Partners and the company’s co-founders Ronald Gertz and Douglas Brainin. Music Reports is a provider of music rights data. Gertz and Douglas will become senior advisors, while Dhruv Prasad of MidOcean will become the new chief executive. … Chris Allen is the new finance officer at Adventist Health Glendale. He joins the hospital from Keck Medicine of USC, where he served as interim chief financial officer. Prior to Keck Medicine, Allen worked at UC Irvine Medical Center. In a statement, Adventist Health Glendale President Alice Issai said: “I worked with Chris at both Keck Medicine and UCI Medical Center and saw first-hand his superb strategic financial skills, business acumen, long-range and capital planning talent and his ability to tie operations and finance together.” … Peter Markham, chief executive of Estrella Media Inc. in Burbank, has signed a distribution deal with live TV streaming platform fuboTV. The national EstrellaTV channel, as well as its flagship television station KRCA-62 in Burbank, are now available to fuboTV’s subscribers on its Latino package in the U.S. “Partnering with fuboTV is a great opportunity to continue expanding EstrellaTV’s distribution channels outside of traditional cable and broadcasting,” Markham said in a statement. “We are truly excited about cord-cutting services like fuboTV.” … Ramsey Naito is the new president of Nickelodeon Animation in Burbank, where she will oversee the cable network’s animation content across all formats and platforms. Naito formerly served as executive vice president of Animation Production and Development.
