Preview: TV’s Newest ‘Star’

Coming out of a Chapter 11 reorganization, LBI Media Inc. has a new logo, a new chief executive, a new program lineup – and a new name. Now called Estrella Media Inc., the Spanish-language broadcaster debuted several new shows this month on its television network, including late night talk format “Nos Cayó La Noche.” Host Alex Montiel represents fresh young talent for the network – a strategic programming element for the company going forward. Currently, the network’s most recognizable personality is Don Cheto, a humorous Mexican character played by actor Juan Razo who has both a television and radio show.
