Optimus Properties, a real estate investment company in Los Angeles, has purchased a medical and office building in Tarzana for $22 million, according to brokerage Kidder Mathews. Tarzana Tower, located at 18321 Ventura Blvd., is an 84,780-square-foot, 10-story multi-tenant office and medical building adjacent to Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center. Janet Neman with Kidder Mathews represented Optimus in the transaction. “This was an off-market deal with significant value-add potential,” Neman said in a statement. “Approximately 37,000 square feet of the building is permitted for medical use, and my clients plan to reposition this asset. The partnership of Providence and Cedars-Sinai will expand health care in the San Fernando Valley, and Tarzana Tower will be ideally positioned to accommodate the area’s medical users.”
