The Number

On Sept. 17, the LA Rams rolled out the final tiers of season tickets at the Los Angeles Stadium under construction in Inglewood, which will become the team’s home in 2020. The Agoura Hills-based NFL franchise has implemented a system of Stadium Seat Licenses, a one-time payment that guarantees purchasers the right to their seats. A team spokeswoman said similar licenses exist at NFL stadia in Dallas, Atlanta and elsewhere, and that the license fee is essentially a loan to build the stadium. Buyers can resell their licenses. Tickets come in three levels, starting with Reserved Seats, for which the license costs $1,000 to $5,000 and season tickets range from $60 to $125 per game. Next come Premier Seats, with licenses from $7,500 to $15,000 and season tickets from $150 to $200 per game.  The top-of-the-line football experience is a Club Seat, which costs as much as $80,000 and $375 per game. For that price, the license holder gets special parking and access to Club-only restaurants, in addition to access to purchase tickets for other sports and entertainment events at the stadium. For those who want to watch football, the seats feature wider cushions and “extraordinary sightlines,” according to the Rams. “We surveyed thousands of fans and season ticket members multiple times to develop pricing that is fair,” Kevin Demoff, the Ram’s general manager, said in a statement. The team began selling Club Seats in March with a top price of $100,000. However, all seats at that price are sold out, the team spokeswoman said. Corporate suites are available, but they include season tickets for both Rams and Los Angeles Chargers games. Companies interested in suites or sponsorships can go to the Los Angeles Stadium website and fill out a form.
