DataDirect Networks is expected to close in the next few days its acquisition of Tintri Inc., a deal that will boost the company’s product portfolio. The Chatsworth data storage supply company bought Tintri, an enterprise cloud infrastructure provider in Mountain View, out of bankruptcy for an undisclosed price. Tintri will operate as a separate division of DataDirect with its own sales, support and engineering resources. DataDirect Chief Executive Alex Bouzari said the company looks forward to bringing a suite of virtualization and analytics products developed by Tintri to clients. “Our first order of business is to deliver immediate world-class support to the more than one thousand Tintri customers worldwide,” Bouzari said in a statement.
