Drug Test Firm Moves HQ to Northridge

Drug Tests in Bulk of West Hills, an online provider of drug tests for businesses and government agencies, plans to move its headquarters to a newly acquired building in Northridge, according to Hudson Commercial Partners Inc. in Studio City. The company’s principal owner, Mergers Marketing Inc., paid $3 million for the 16,000-square-foot industrial property at 9333 Melvin Ave. Drug Tests in Bulk, which services 15,000-plus customers according to its website, intends to move to the new location by June, according to Hudson. Till then, Drug Tests in Bulk is adding clinical laboratories so it can perform the tests in the new space, Hudson said. The building has 16-feet clear height, parking for 32 vehicles and two drive-in loading doors. Hudson’s Managing Principals Peter Steigleder and Kelly Betpolice negotiated the deal on behalf of the property’s sellers, Harout Kouzouian and Diana Kouzouian. Craig Weisman of Told Partners represented Mergers Marketing. “The building was originally being marketed for lease, but was sold due to the buyer’s strong offer and the current seller’s market,” Steigleder said in a statement.
