Entertainment Accounting Firms Merge

Bernstein Business Management Group will join Armanino LLP, an independent accounting and business consultancy effective March 1. The Woodland Hills firm will become part of the business management department of Armanino, in San Ramon. Name partner Bob Bernstein joins Armanino as a partner and he and his staff will relocate to Armanino’s existing office in Warner Center. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Joining with Armanino was a strategic decision, Bernstein said. “We are excited to join such an innovative and comprehensive firm that shares our philosophy and approach to establishing authentic relationships with clients,” he added in a prepared statement. Bernstein Business Management provides business management services, including financial planning, banking, insurance coordination, bookkeeping and payroll, to high net worth individuals and professionals in the entertainment industry. It complements Armanino’s entertainment expertise and expands the company’s reach in the San Fernando Valley. “The group’s talents, combined with Armanino’s deep technical know-how, will allow us to further deliver hands-on, personal service to our clients,” Ken Coelho, partner-in-charge of business management at Armanino, said in a statement.
