Heritage Provider Network, Inc. is extending hours at its Lakeside Community Healthcare Burbank Urgent Care facility to respond to significantly increased patient volumes. The extension will create new jobs for doctors, nurses, licensed vocational nurses and intake workers. “This is step one in our long-term plan to institute additional services in our urgent care facilities,” said Steven Goldberg, senior executive officer at Lakeside Community Healthcare. “In addition to extending hours of urgent care hours of operation, we will continue to evaluate other aspects of our healthcare delivery system as we look for new ways of expanding service and patient access, including more doctors and office locations.” The Burbank urgent care facility is now open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., including weekends and holidays. Heritage Provider Network, Inc., based in Northridge, organizes and manages medical groups and independent practice associations. Jessica Selva
