Engineers & Architects Association officials and the city inked a deal Friday to keep key city workers on the job. The agreement bans 200 employees of crucial jobs within the city’s airport and department of sanitation and information technology from striking at any time. In return, the city has agreed to drop any legal action against the 20 union employees who walked off the job last month. The EAA, which represents 7,500 city workers has been without a contact and is asking for a better raise. EAA members took part in a two-day strike Aug. 24.
