Hospital Addition Goes Before Neighborhood Council

The Pacoima Neighborhood Council will conduct a 30-day study of the environmental report for a new 101-bed patient care building at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. Upon completion of the study, the council will decide whether to support the hospital’s new South addition. Last year, the council voted to support the medical center’s project only if a full environmental impact report was prepared. Since then, the medical center has completed more exhaustive environmental studies. The South addition project is slated for review before the Los Angeles City Planning Commission July 26 at the Van Nuys City Hall Council Chambers.
