NoHo Business Owner to Chair L.A. Chamber of Commerce

The Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce has appointed Mark Louchheim, chief executive of Bobrick Washroom Equipment Inc., as its board chairman.

Louchheim has served on the chamber board since 2017 and succeeds Raul Anaya of Bank of America as chairman. Bobrick, a toilet partition and restroom accessory manufacturer in North Hollywood, has been a chamber member since 1950.

At its Inaugural Dinner on Jan. 27 to celebrate Louchheim becoming the board chair, he called on every business leader in the region to take action.

“If we stand on the sidelines or don’t take sides, we will continue on the same path – to the detriment of our businesses and to the community,” Louchheim said. “Therefore, I call on every business leader in our region and in the state to get engaged, to speak up, and speak out for being on the side of prosperity – for our employees, suppliers, customers and our communities.”

Louchheim represents the third generation of his family to head Bobrick. During his leadership, he has overseen three acquisitions, expansion into new market segments, development of new North American manufacturing capabilities, and substantial investments in management development and product research, according to a release from the chamber.
