A school campus belonging to Chatsworth Hills Academy has sold for $9 million, according to NAI Capital, the brokerage that negotiated the deal.
The property, a 15.8 acre private school campus, is at 21523 Rinaldi St. in Chatsworth. It includes 16 buildings totaling approximately 22,000 square feet, a cafeteria, kitchen, swimming pools, soccer fields, basketball courts, parking lots with gated access and a headmaster’s house with two bedrooms and two baths.
The location also has in place a pre-kindergarten-through-8th-grade conditional use permit that accommodates up to 420 students.
The seller, Chatsworth Hills Academy, is moving to Granada Hills, where it will become Granada Preparatory School in August, thus prompting the land sale.
New owner Manifest Point LLC plans to move DNA Prep Academy onto the campus. DNA is a premier middle school for student-athlete development.
NAI Capital Executive Managing Director Chris Jackson, Executive Vice President Todd Lorber and Senior Associate Grant Bullen with NAI Capital’s Investment Services Group completed the sale on behalf of Manifest Point. The same NAI Capital team also represented the seller in the transaction.
“This was an excellent opportunity for a sports academy to purchase this unique 15.78 acre property, in a prime West San Fernando Valley location," Jackson said in a statement. “The property received several offers from developers and investors. The seller picked the buyer based on their ability to close quickly.”
