The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley has appointed Kanoe Nāone as chief executive.
Nāone joins the Agoura Hills nonprofit from the Institute for Native Pacific Education Culture in Kapolei, Hawaii, where she served as chief executive for nearly 10 years. The Laguna Beach native also held leadership roles at Keiki O Ka `Āina Family Learning Centers and the Palehua Project, organizations dedicating to serving the education needs of Native Hawaiian populations.
Nāone holds a doctorate in political science from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. She resides with her husband and three sons in Westlake Village.
