Sun Air Jets Renews Lease in Van Nuys

Sun Air Jets will continue occupying two hangars at Van Nuys Airport through 2030 in an agreement with Aeroplex/Aerolease Group. The Camarillo aircraft charter and management company will continue leasing the 21,000-square-foot hangars with attached office and shop space. Sun Air President Brian Counsil said by signing the agreement with Aeroplex/Aerolease, the company ensures having adequate space for its managed aircraft clients in one of the most desirable locations in Southern California. “Additionally, we also get to do it in hangars that we know and are proud of, while working with a group of people that are not only good business people, but also good friends,” Counsil said in a statement. Aeroplex/Aerolease Chief Executive Curt Castagna called the agreement a win-win for both companies. “By continuing the long-standing relationship between us, each entity gains a measure of security and cost certainty in an industry that doesn’t usually provide either,” Castagna said in a statement.
