Woodland Hills-based CNM LLP will expand its operations to Malaysia this month. The technical advisory firm provides consulting services including risk management, compliance and risky advisory, accounting services and tax consulting. The new office in Asia will be its first international expansion. The location’s establishment will be led by CNM partner Beatrice Leong, who has worked at the firm for 19 years.
“Expanding to Malaysia will be a milestone moment for CNM and will help accelerate our growth plan as the firm enters its 20th year,” Leong said in a statement.
The company currently has offices in Woodlands Hills, Irvine, San Diego and New York. It said that the goal of opening an international office is to be more competitive in domestic and global markets, to open up its talent pool and to serve its client base in that region.
“Not only will our commitment to Malaysia bring economic benefits to our firm and our clients, but it will also be a competitive differentiator in the market,” CNM president Bill Strong said in a statement.
CNM’s clients include both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. The Malaysia office will act as a shared service center and be fully integrated into its existing operations.
