Warner Bros. Fills Top Gamer Post

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has promoted David Haddad to be president of the division responsible for video and mobile games. Haddad has been with the interactive division of Warner Bros. Entertainment, in Burbank, since 2013 where he started as senior vice president of digital publishing. In January he was promoted to executive vice president and general manager of the interactive entertainment division. As president, Haddad will oversee the operations of publishing, sales, marketing, business development and game production. The interactive division has had a successful year with the release of game titles “Batman: Arkham Knight,” “Mortal Kombat X” and “LEGO Jurassic World.” Ron Sanders, president of Warner Bros. Worldwide Home Entertainment Distribution, said that Haddad’s promotion recognizes his contributions to the year the interactive division is having. “David has proven himself to be a leader who is equally adept at the creative and management sides of the games business,” Sanders said in a prepared statement. Haddad will report to Sanders and Diane Nelson, chief content officer at interactive entertainment, president of DC Entertainment and president of Warner Bros. Consumer Products.
