The company formerly known as Compulink Business Systems Inc. in Newbury Park has changed its name to Compulink Healthcare Solutions in an effort to rebrand itself as a provider of software solutions for the medical industry, the company announced Wednesday. “We wanted a company name that better represented the business we’re in and scope of the value we provide to our client partners,” Link Wilson, Compulink founder and chief executive, said in a statement. “We also wanted a name that reflects the increasing enterprise nature of our business in helping large clinics and equity businesses with robust, scalable solutions, and world-class service.” Compulink has been building electronic medical records and practice management software since its founding in 1985. The company has 160 employees nationally and recently doubled the size of its headquarters at 1100 Business Center Circle with an adjacent 20,000-square-foot building, according to the firm.
