Teledyne Technologies Inc. in Thousand Oaks is expanding the manufacturing capacities of its subsidiary Teledyne DALSA Inc. to accommodate increased demand for its products. The Waterloo, Canada-based subsidiary, which builds digital imaging medical and dental x-ray machines, will expand its manufacturing facilities in the Netherlands, according to the company. Teledyne DALSA acquired a semiconductor assembly plant there four years ago; it also has manufacturing operations in Canada and the U.S. Teledyne expects demand for its x-ray detectors to double by the year 2020, according to the company. Teledyne shares fell $2.92, or about 1.6 percent, on Thursday to close at $183.03 on the New York Stock Exchange.
