Interlink Electronics Inc. announced that David Burnett has rejoined the company as chief financial officer. In the position, Burnett oversees all financial and administrative functions for the Westlake Village sensor technology manufacturer. He had previously served as finance chief for the company from August 2016 to April 2017. Prior to rejoining Interlink, Burnett had been chief financial officer of Palmetto Clean Technology Inc. in Charleston, S.C. “I am thrilled to be coming home to Interlink Electronics and look forward to developing a strong growth strategy around the company’s technologies, as well as seeking inorganic growth opportunities that exist in this exciting sector,” Burnett said in a prepared statement. In addition to finance duties at Interlink, Burnett also was named chief financial officer at BKF Capital Group Inc., in Westlake Village, which owns nearly 12 percent of Interlink. Burnett’s appointment was announced Wednesday. On Thursday, shares in Interlink (LINK) closed down 55 cents, or nearly 8 percent, to $6.35 on the Nasdaq.
