Chair, Chief Executive, Amgen
Bradway has served as the chair and chief executive of biotech giant Amgen for over 10 years. He’s held a variety of leadership positions at the company since he first started in 2006 as vice president, operations strategy. From April 2007 to May 2010, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer. He was appointed to the board of directors in 2011 and was Amgen’s president and chief operating officer from May 2010 to May 2012. He became chief executive in May 2012 and chair in January 2013. Most recently he oversaw the company’s tumultuous $27.8 billion acquisition of Horizon Therapeutics plc. He’s on the boards of the W.M. Keck Foundation and Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America.
