President, Kaiser Permanente Southern California and Hawaii
Gaskill-Hames became the regional president of Kaiser Permanente Southern California and Hawaii in September after serving as interim president since April 2023. In her role, Gaskill-Hames directs health plan and hospital operations, partnering with the Southern California Permanente Medical Group and the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group to provide care for over 5 million members. She leads a team of over 89,000 employees at 17 hospitals and 218 medical offices. She is also responsible for overseeing more than $1 billion. She also serves on the California Hospital Association executive board and the Martin Luther King Community Hospital board and is a member of Mayor Karen Bass’s Business Cabinet.
