President, Chief Executive, Henry Mayo
Klockenga has served as president and chief executive of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Valencia since his appointment in March 2023. Klockenga has over 30 years of hospital and health system leadership experience. Prior to starting at the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, he was chief executive and system executive vice president for the northern California region of Providence St. Joseph Health System, where he oversaw its health care ministries in Humboldt, Sonoma and Napa counties. Klockenga, who earned his master’s degree in health administration from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, is a former chair of the Washington University School of Medicine Health Administration Program Alumni Association.
