Special Programs Director for Community Relations, Van Nuys Airport
Sanchez is the Special Programs Director for Community Relations at Los Angeles World Airports, which includes Los Angeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport. Under her leadership, Van Nuys Airport has received awards from the Mid Valley YMCA, The Valley Economic Alliance, the Valley Industry & Commerce Association and several Chambers of Commerce. In 2021, Sanchez was awarded the Fernando Award, the highest local award for volunteerism. She was recognized as Woman of the Year by then Senator Robert Hertzberg and by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In 2019, she was named Businessperson of the Year by the Encino Chamber of Commerce. She serves on the Mid Valley YMCA Board of Directors.
