President, Mel Wilson and Associates – Realtors
Wilson is a legislative housing advocate, real estate asset manager and realtor who owns Mel Wilson and Associates in San Fernando. As California State University – Northridge’s first All-American football player, he was inducted into CSUN’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Wilson played for the New York Giants, Kansas City Chiefs and Calgary Stampeders. He was a candidate for mayor of Los Angeles but lost in the primary last year. He has twice served on the Los Angeles Metro board and was vice president of the Los Angeles Fire Commission. He was a founding member of the Valley Economic Alliance and past president of the United Chambers of Commerce and the Southland Regional Association of Realtors.
