President and Chief Executive, Pacifica Hospital of the Valley
Mayes has been president and chief executive of Pacifica Hospital in Sun Valley since 2018 and is known for reversing years of massive losses in her first year. She has more than 25 years of experience in health care, and before becoming CEO she served as chief strategy officer at the hospital, boosting its performance metrics. Mayes was named the Business Journal’s Executive of the Year at the Women’s Council Awards in 2019. She is a member of the California Hospital Association and is on its leadership committee, as well as the California Association of Healthcare Facilities, the American Healthcare Association and the National Center for Assisted Living.
